About
The Alliance for Housing Justice is powered by Public Advocates, PolicyLink, the Poverty & Race Research Action Council, Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, and the Right to the City Alliance

Mission
AHJ was formed to address the nation's affordable housing and displacement crisis, advance the rights of tenants, respond to harmful public policy actions, and shift the narrative from housing as a commodity to a human right. Our primary strategy to achieve these goals is building and supporting the infrastructure needed for a powerful, grassroots-led housing justice movement.
Vision
A safe, quality, and affordable place to live is a fundamental human right. To ensure that all people can live healthy lives, we must guarantee access to a safe, healthy, and affordable home, free from the threat of displacement.

Platform
The Housing Justice National Platform was co-created by AHJ to build power and win victories for housing justice all across the country.
